Fun Fact After Round Valley was filled with water in the 1960s, the resulting Round Valley Reservoir created New Jersey's second-deepest man-made body of fresh water, at 180 feet. (Merrill Creek Reservoir in Warren County's Harmony Township is the deepest man-made lake in the state with a depth of about 235 feet.)
